Artist's Statement:

I am continually seeking new techniques and methods to enhance or enrich my photographic images. The image must be powerful in its original state, imbuing a sense of mystery or drama to transform everyday objects into iconic symbols of our lives. Light and composition are key elements in a successful image. Recently I began to feel that photography lacked a textural component and this has become the focus of my latest explorations. Regardless of the direction of my photography, I am driven to create the next image in anticipation that it will be even better than the last one.
